Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”, “T&C”) carefully before using the MilestoneView platform and website (the “Service”), operated by BeHost (“us”, “we”, or “our”).
Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the Service.
The MilestoneView Service and Scope
MilestoneView is a project management and client portal platform designed specifically for solopreneurs, freelancers, and a “team of one.”
User Responsibility: You are solely responsible for the content, projects, files, and client information (“User Data”) you upload and manage through the Service. You must ensure that your use of the Service and the User Data complies with all applicable laws and regulations, including data protection laws (like GDPR).
Warranties: We provide the Service “as is” and “as available,” without any warranties of any kind. While we strive for 100% uptime and functionality, we cannot guarantee the Service will always be uninterrupted or error-free.
Beta Status and Founder Rate
MilestoneView is currently operating in a Beta development stage. By subscribing to the Starter plan, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms regarding the Beta program:
Founding User (Beta Status): As a Founding User, you accept that the Service may contain bugs, errors, or interruptions, and certain promised features (e.g., Time Tracking, Billing) may not yet be fully available or stable.
Feedback and Contribution: We highly encourage and rely on your feedback to guide the development and improvement of the platform.
The Founder Rate (50% Off for Life): This exclusive discount is offered in exchange for your early adoption, patience, and contribution during the Beta phase.
The discounted rate is locked for the life of your subscription to the Starter plan, provided your account remains active.
If you cancel your subscription and later wish to re-subscribe, the Founder Rate may no longer be available, and you will be subject to the current market rate.
The Founder Rate applies only to the Starter plan and is valid for life even after the finish of the beta version.
Subscriptions, Billing, and Cancellation
Free Trial: We offer a Free Trial tier, which does not require payment information to start.
Subscription and Payment: If you upgrade to the Starter plan, you agree to pay the monthly subscription fee as specified at the time of purchase. All payments are processed via a secure third-party payment processor (Stripe, upon implementation of billing).
Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time directly through your account settings. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle. You will not be billed again, but no refunds will be issued for the remaining portion of the billing cycle.
Price Changes: We reserve the right to modify subscription fees after the Beta phase, but your Founder Rate will be permanently honored.
Account Security and User Obligations
Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
Security: You are responsible for safeguarding the password and credentials you use to access the Service and for any activities or actions under your account. You agree not to disclose your password to any third party.
Lawful Use: You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not use the Service to upload or distribute any content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or infringes on any third-party rights.
Termination
We may terminate or suspend access to our Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, if you breach the Terms, including, but not limited to, non-payment or misuse of the platform. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.
Limitation of Liability
In no event shall BeHost, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:
Your use or inability to use the Service;
Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service;
Any content obtained from the Service; and
Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Belgium, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide at least 30 days’ notice before any new terms take effect. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
